The day I finished " The woman in white"

In general, it is a remarkably good story for its age, as it was written in the year 1859, with the significant detailed writing technique of that era...

Despite that, in my humble opinion , I consider it a boring novel with a great plot.
If you have a good deal of free time and a lot of patience you will be able to finish it (as for myself I finished it in 2 weeks) but still you won't be able to read every single line, you will have to skip some boring unnecessary paragraphs and to scan quickly through them to find the important details.

The edition I read is an "Everyman's" (one of my favourites) with a good introduction and a chronology of the author's life.
