Your
personality, the persona; is the mask you wear to survive mentally, so make
sure you wear the proper mask, the mask you like best, the mask that fits you
best.
A general definition of a personality; is the long-lasting patterns of thoughts,
emotions and behaviours that characterize a person.
Long
lasting:
it develops with you as an infant and lasts for a long period of your life, or
forever, if you think you possess the perfect one, you won’t have to change it
then.
Patterns
of thoughts:
your thoughts have the same repetitive pattern, which results in the same
action that you always take.
So
whether your pattern of thought is positive or negative, it’s your decision.
As a
result, don’t complain or blame yourself when you do something stupid, because
it’s your thought pattern that created such an action.
Emotions: emotions are sometimes
interchangeable with the word mood, despite that, the latter is not raised by an
external factor, stable emotions make you able to deal with others, but if they
are disabled they may cause physical and mental problems.
When
you find yourself feeling something that you don’t like, try to ignore it or
change it, before it affects your thoughts and as a result your behaviour.
Needn’t
mention that emotions vary from negative to positive, but a person must
understand that negative emotion is not always something bad or unwanted, as
it sometimes plays an important role in self-preservation, like the emotion of fear which can lead to cautiousness or consideration, but if it is over-used or
precisely over felt it might lead to the undesired state of disability.
Behaviour: Behaviour, is what the others
see in you as it is the result and offspring of all what is going in the mind,
without denying the role of the surrounding environment in shaping its form.
So
if you could shape your thoughts according to the surroundings, in other words,
condition yourself with it, you would reach a state of full control of your
personality.
So
if you can’t change what happened, change what will happen.
